Danforth Main Medical Diagnosis: a clear website for an East York imaging clinic

Danforth Main Medical Diagnosis is a diagnostic imaging clinic on Danforth Avenue in East York, Toronto, offering OHIP-covered walk-in X-ray, general and obstetric ultrasound, and mammography, including the Ontario Breast Screening Program. White Dolphin designed and developed the clinic’s website and worked on its search visibility. The clinic has since become WELL Health Diagnostic Centres – Toronto Danforth, with the same team at the same location.

The challenge

Patients choosing an imaging clinic want to know quickly which exams it offers, whether they can walk in, how to prepare and how to send their requisition. Referring doctors need the same information. The website had to put those answers first and turn a visit into a booked exam.

What we did

Website design and development. Service pages for mammography, ultrasound and X-ray, an exam preparation page, a gallery and a news section with patient-friendly articles such as “Things to Know About X-ray”.
Appointment requests. An “Online Booking” button and a “Request An Appointment” form with requisition upload and preferred dates and times.
SEO. Pages built around the exams patients search for, with articles that answer common questions.
